Community Groups

The early church in the book of Acts didn’t only come together at the temple, they also met daily in each other’s homes. At Joshua Generation Church, we value time spent together in our homes, whether in prayer and worship, around the Bible, or sharing food and enjoying friendship. Each congregation has a number of community groups which meet up in homes.

Sundays

Sundays are a carved out time for Joshua Generation Church saints to gather together with their local congregations – for a time of worship, fellowship and teaching. We are mindful too that life is busy, however, we try and prioritise these meetings as we believe that community plays a vital role in one’s faith journey and walk with the Lord.

Gatherings

We’re better together! One Heart. One Church. One Big Family. As a church, we value gathering together not only on Sundays and during our weekly Community Groups, but every few months we gather together as a larger body to catch the heart, vision and direction that our leaders feel God is leading us in. A beautiful time of impartation, equipping and teaching - we’ll worship together, hear about all the exciting new things God is doing across the body and be re-aligned to where Jesus is taking Joshua Generation Church in the coming seasons.

Four12

We see in Scripture that there were no denominations or networks of churches in the New Testament Church. What was in place were relationships where local churches worked together in partnership with the Apostles to help build healthy churches and plant new ones. We believe that this is God’s timeless blueprint for His Church, and, in line with this, we are part of an apostolic partnership of churches called Four12.

For more resources and information on what Four12 is, the role of the apostolic and our part to play as saints in a local church, please visit their website at www.four12global.com.
