What We Believe

The Gospel

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16 (NIV)

The Gospel is the good news that God loves us and has made a way for us to be reconciled to Him through Jesus Christ. Because of sin, we are separated from God, but through Jesus’ death and resurrection, we can be forgiven and restored.

The Gospel calls us to repent of our sins, believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, and follow Him. It is an invitation to experience new life, forgiveness, and eternal hope.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the inspired Word of God. It is our final authority for faith, life, and for the governance of the Church.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons; namely Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ had to die a substitutionary death for the sins of mankind so that we could be reconciled back to God, and we believe in His bodily death, burial and resurrection.

New Believers

Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
